Station Codes

Station codes are the unique identifier used for each station by the NERR System. Each code consists of the 3 letter Reserve code, 2 letter station code, and 2-3 letter data type designation. If you are unfamiliar with the station codes for the data of interest, you may want to use the Data Export System (http://cdmo.baruch.sc.edu/get/export.cfm) to become more familiar with them.

A –P following the station code indicates that this is a primary SWMP station. A –S following the station code indicates that this is a secondary SWMP station. Primary SWMP stations ultimately go through tertiary review by the CDMO. Secondary SWMP stations are optional in addition to the core SWMP stations and must follow all SWMP SOPs, but do not go through tertiary review.
